New Skin Care

Ever since moving to New York, my skin has taken quite a toll. I’m always in Sephora buying new cleansers, moisturizers, etc. trying to figure out what will work for me. I decided to splurge on a CHANEL regime that I’ve been interested in. The 3 components are a Mousse Cleanser for Purity + Anti Pollution, the Anti Pollution Toner, and the Hydrating Gel Creme. I’ve only had them a day but I’m so excited about them I wanted to share. A quick side note I recently picked up on is that you should remove your makeup and oil from the day with a makeup remover cleansing wipe BEFORE you wash your face with your cleanser. This way your cleanser will be able to penetrate your fresh skin rather than just removing your makeup. This cleanser from CHANEL lathers up really nice and has small exfoliating beads as well. The toner then picks up anything the cleanser left behind, and the moisturizing gel creme has a silky feel. I really hope this new skin care regime works for me because I’m sick of looking!

I finally went shopping at a store my friend has been telling me to stop by, Aritiza. I loved it immediately. So many flirty, feminine dresses and tops. Drapey and breezy fabrics are perfect for a hot summer in NYC.
